Extra-ordinary Ministers of Communion

There are two parts of this ministry: serving at Mass and taking communion to our homebound parishioners and Catholics in the local healthcare centers. Though the visitation calls are not a requirement, it is encouraged, as these folks have a tremendous need for the presence of Our Lord in both the Eucharist and in those who visit them. To be a Extra-ordinary Minister one must:

  • be commissioned by the pastor
  • be trained in the ministry
  • be committed to the times assigned
