Parish requirements for children to receive First Communion
- Parents are registered members of Mary, Queen of Peace Parish
- Child has been baptized and is at least seven years old
- Child has celebrated First Reconciliation
- Child is currently enrolled in the parish religious education program and regularly attends classes
- Child has attended religious education classes regularly for at least two consecutive years
- Parents attend a preparation class concerning the Eucharist
- If the child was not baptized at Mary, Queen of Peace, a copy of the certificate from the baptismal parish must be produced so we can verify information
