Friends of St. Anthony
We are asking for donations of cat/dog food to take to the homeless men and women for their beloved pets. They are also in need of gently used or new leashes,collars, and chew bones. You might ask why do they have pets if they can’t take care of themselves. Their pets give them joy, peace, security, companionship, and warmth when they sleep with them. All of the pets we have met have been fixed and are not contributing to the population of strays running loose.
You can donate opened bags and cans of food even if they are expired up to (6) months. If you wish you can drop a Walmart or Kroger gift card in an envelope and place these items inside the church doors in the basket. God created these pets for our enjoyment and these pets give so much back to us. If you will help in some way, this act of kindness will help feed their furry friends during these hard times.
